Paddle Canada: Level 1 Sea Kayaking Certification Cost - $200 "Beyond the Basics" - This certified course is of two days duration totaling 14 hours of instruction. At the successful completion of this course, participants will have the knowledge and skills for a day long sea kayak trip in sheltered waters and light winds in the company of other paddlers of equal or greater skill and knowledge. Day 2 is spent on a full day paddling excursion. Bring a lunch both days. Participants are given one-hour lunch breaks each of the two days. An extra hour is given at the end of each day for individual help and practice. DatesAugust 2/3, 23/24

To enroll in this course students should have completed Paddle Canada’s Flatwater course or have the equivalent skill sets.
