Comox Valley Kayaks and Canoes has been in operation since 1991.  We have grown and evolved to become one of the premier kayaking shops on the West Coast.  We feature many different brands of kayaks and gear.  We like to cater to the beginner and the expert and everyone in between.  We’re enroute to most of the top kayaking destinations on Vancouver Island.

Attention 2012 Snow to Surf Racers!

We are now accepting Snow to Surf Rental Reservations for 2012.  We offer both Canoe and Kayak rentals.  NOTE:  Rental cost for kayaks are $45 for a fiberglass kayak and $35 for a plastic kayak. Your kayak rental will include a PFD, paddle, and required safety equipment.  Canoe Rentals are $65 and include 2 PFDs, 2 paddles, and required safety equipment. 

• Kayak Rentals: We deliver and pick up kayaks from the race location (Comox Lake).  This is included in your rental fee.
• Canoe Rentals:  Renters must pick up canoes at Comox Valley Kayaks & Canoes before 10:30am on race day.  We are conveniently located just 20 meters from Start Line!  We are completely booked up for canoes already.  Sorry !!!
  
• Booked renters for race day can practice for $5/2 hours/person during business hours anytime before the race! 

RACE RENTAL POLICIES:

1.    There is a No Cancellation Policy for Snow To Surf Reservations.  Payment is processed at the time the booking is made and is non-refundable.

2.    Ramming boats into boat launches and dragging boats over gravel will result in severe damage to kayaks.  Damage occurring during rental period is the responsibility of the renter.

3.    Boats are selected by CVKC on a first-come-first-served basis.  We will need to know the heights, weights, and skill levels of renters in order to select an appropriate boat.
